No one wants to feel like they are doing everything alone. Newly diagnosed people or those who have been in treatment for years can face challenges navigating HIV related care needs. How do we support each other as we navigate providers, choose doctors, interact with case managers, and try to make a broken and sometimes hostile system do right by us? Are we being treated with respect, given clear and transparent information, and being included as drivers of our own care? Are we making decisions for ourselves or are they being made for us? How can we leverage peer support or pressure to make sure your needs are being met? And, if you are misled, marginalized, or retaliated against, how can having a group behind you influence the outcome? Do you know your rights?

When our members need support confronting obstacles to their care, we step in and have each other’s backs.
